Tooling investment and per-piece MOQ depend on part category, specification complexity, and your volume forecast. Here are the starting points.
Part within our tooling range. No tooling cost. Lead time 90–120 days from order confirmation. Minimum order value USD 5,000 (mix-and-match SKUs allowed).
New-geometry part requiring dedicated tooling. Tooling cost quoted upfront. Tooling lead time 60–90 days from drawing approval, then production. MOQ floor quoted per category.
Committed annual volume unlocks lower per-piece MOQ and shared tooling amortisation. Share your forecast — we structure the program around it.
All orders: 100% T/T bank wire in advance, USD only. No credit terms. Minimum order value USD 5,000 per shipment.

Frequently asked questions
Can SLOOP put my brand on the part itself?
Yes. For eligible part families, brand marking can be applied directly to the component — laser etching, stamping, or sticker depending on part geometry and material. Discuss your requirement during the tooling conversation.
What if I only have a sample part, not a drawing?
Send the physical sample. Our engineering team reverse-engineers the geometry and produces a manufacturing drawing for your approval before the first production run. Contact us first to confirm the shipping address and any import documentation needed.
How is intellectual property handled?
Your drawing and specification are treated as confidential. We do not share client tooling designs with other customers. A non-disclosure agreement is available on request before any technical exchange begins.
What's the typical lead time?
Private-label OEM (your brand on existing-tooling production): 90–120 days from order confirmation — a dedicated production run is required. ODM with new tooling: tooling takes 60–90 days from drawing approval, followed by the production lead time. Timeline is confirmed in writing in the quotation.
How does payment work?
100% T/T bank wire in advance, USD only. No credit terms. No samples. For ODM orders, the full invoice — including tooling cost — is settled before production is confirmed. Bank details are provided on order confirmation.
What happens if there are quality rejects in the first run?
Every production run is inspected at our Taichung factory before shipment. Defects identified post-delivery are handled through the same warranty process as standard orders: submit the claim with batch number and defect description; our quality team responds within 3 business days.
