זרוע בקרה (זרוע תחתונה) היא הקישור בצורת A או L שמחבר את נושא ציר הגלגל הקדמי (ציר ההיגוי) לשלדת הרכב או לתת-המסגרת, ומאפשר לגלגל לעלות וליפול עם פני הדרך תוך שמירת שליטה לרוחב ולאורך. כל עיצוב מתלה קדמי עצמאי משתמש בלפחות זרוע בקרה אחת לכל צד; עיצובים כפולי-ויישבון ורב-קישורים משתמשים בשתיים — עליונה ותחתונה — בעוד שפריסת MacPherson strut משתמשת רק בזרוע תחתונה אחת, כאשר הסטרט עצמו מטפל במיקום העליון.
